Here's a riddle: How many times does it take a drunk stranger calling you at five in the morning before you call 911 and then disconnect your phone?
Well, I don't know about you, but for me it was six.
I never said it was a good riddle.

Today, I purchased 128 oz. of IBC root beer for four dollars. We do indeed live in a magnificent country.

Ce n'est pas une blog.
This semester looks like its going to be fun. A philosophy class on Sartre's Being and Nothingness and another on the philosophy of art, which it seems is also going to be a semi-major focus of my english class, which is actually a popular studies class about comic books. I'm not surprised, because the conventional definition of art tends to not include comic books, so in order to justify a class on them the point needs to be made special that art can include comics.
If that wasn't enough, I'm also taking two martial arts - Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido - a class with my friends Andrew and Peggy in which we will watch movies in class, and a Japanese history class where my professor announced on the first day how much he likes Kurosawa and showed us two clips. What more could I ask for?

School started today and went well. I've only had three of my seven classes, but they were all promising. Tomorrow, I see what the other four will be like.
I think this is appropriate, given the situation.
In addition, the person in the apartment next to me is a really bad bass player. He either needs to stop practicing or get better faster. Bastard.
