Blast it all! I need a blog nobody reads, so that way I won't have to worry about what I write.

[does a double-take]

Hold on a minute...

Okay, my mom asked me for my christmas list, and I sent her one containing a few DVDs, a few video games, and some books.

You know what I really want, though? I want voice-recognition software that will control my computer, like on star trek. So when I'm sitting on the couch, I can say: "Computer, open winamp! Play." And then the music will start. Does that exist yet? If not, what the fuck? Isn't this almost 2004? Seriously, if I can't have a flying car, I want a voice-activated computer.

Yea, I have come down from my mountain top to distribute truth unto the people.

Where have the long, tedious postings of my early blogging days gone? (please refer to archive at left)

I don't know. But it's been quite a while... I'm sure the people are just clamoring for another glimpse into the inner workings of my head! (yeah, right)

I do know that two of my good friends are working on big papers tonight. Good luck to the both of them, I say. If it were up to me, I'd be the one staying up until all hours writing papers, and you could enjoy some sweet, sweet sleep. But it's not...

On the one hand, alas. On the other, look out bed, here I come!

Thought for the day: idealists starve to death much more often than pragmatists.

Hey, does anyone else remember that time when I roxxored? Oh yeah, it was RIGHT FRICKIN' NOW! Up until this morning at 11 o'clock, I had read the relevant passages of one book for my massive philosophy paper which is due tomorrow. A mere fourteen hours later, it was finished. I spent three hours at the library tracking down and reading selections from a dozen more books. From then on, I was working on my paper practically non-stop, except for Simpsons and Adult Swim. Now, I have completed it, and I wasn't even horribly dissapointed with it. That's 18 pages in a single day.

Of course, it's probably a little early to celebrate. I haven't gotten my grade back.

Well, fingers are crossed. I'd have given myself a B. We'll see how accurate I am.
